NOTHING upsets me more that a NON-Vegan talking what they do not know. Like: “I tried to be vegan, but vegans EAT TOO MUCH CHEMICALS..” seriously? 🙄🤔 There may be “some” truth for some vegans. But please...🤨 I wish these folks would educate themselves about whole plant based food (Veganism) before opening that hole in their mouth. Plant based diet is that: PLANT BASED EATING aka: VEGAN 🌱 Like so: VEGAN Sancocho with much veggies, fresh Sofrito and some plain white 🍚 rice. And let me tell you...... this SANCOCHO is delicious 😋 and very comforting. 😋. Buckwheat flour and molasses make such a great combo 😋 I added some leftover sweet potato purée to these (it’s kinda my favorite thing to add bananas, applesauce, spinach, pumpkin purée and others to the batter - gives it the best texture and ups the nutrition value!).

Cooking for non-vegan family 🙌🏻 Last night we made maple, banana, pecan cupcakes (following a @bosh.tv recipe) and homemade @nakdwholefoods cashew cookie bars, and today we’ve cooked a shepherd’s pie (using a @minimalistbaker recipe) 💃🏼 Baking and trying out new recipes is one of our favourite things to do at the weekend, and we love cooking for family and friends!
