Started to reflect on how far ive come with body positivity since I began going to the gym so many years ago. In high school, i would often hear "thunder thighs" and other rude comments about how big my legs are 🙃 i hated myself for years bc of comments other people told me, leading me to do the most drastic things possible to attempt to shrink my legs to satisfy other people. It wasnt until i started weight lifting that I learned to love myself, especially my legs. My legs are strong, they're awesome and i love them more now than I ever have. If you're going through a bad body image experience, I promise you it gets better. It always does. 💖
