Today was a very low-key day in Sedona that had been planned from the beginning. No alarms and no parks, just some southwest suburban exploring. Our first stop was to Chapel of the Holy Cross, which is built into the red rocks of Sedona. It was designed by a Frank Lloyd Wright student and it looks like something out of a superhero movie. It is sleek, yet rugged with the way it sticks out of the rocks. After that, we spent a bit of time in the middle of Sedona. Kristen checked out a few shops, we had lunch at a local brewery, and took the girls to get ice cream for research. ;) We watched the sunset just outside our backyard and it was once again beautiful. Tomorrow, we are heading further south to Tuscon and attempting to split Saguaro National Park into two 1/2 days.
