I WANT TO RUN TOO...->> Am I the only one who feels this way? Those of you who read my last post, I was instructed by my doctor to stay away from running for a while about 2 years ago when I completed my first marathon. Not because of a physical injury, but as a result of the marathon, my body simply gave out. You never realize how much you love/miss running until you can’t run. We all had injuries before but seeing people run when I can’t, just makes me want to run too, its a constant thought and feeling that I think only runners understand. Self-care is important though, and even if we dont want to, we have to trust the process which often times includes patience to heal before we can hit the pavement again. We have to tell ourselves that its okay, as soon as we are ready just get up and go! How do you deal with injuries or having your doctor tell you to stop?
