Due to the weather this entire week has been sooo frustrating, from not making it to a rowing training day, a Metafit Instructor course, AND @cyclebox_ yesterday (😢). However I did make it to my new job 😅 And it's great having @lynseymcintyre_ back training 💪🏽 So all in a mixed week, and starting the next one off right with a good ol' workout this morning! -

I was watching a video feed from @grenadejay the other day explaining about the importance of experimenting new workouts and trying new things to make a positive changes to you're regular routines. So I felt it be a good idea for me to start getting more Instagram happy and showing viewers the work outs I use my self and swear by with my clients for fantastic results on leg days
Through out these routines I use a resistance band just to add that little extra spice into the leg routines.
Video 1 sledge pushes with reverse pulls useing a resistance band around the thighs (close to the knees) also mark out 15 yards with cones.
I would do this 3 x 1 minute rounds
Or 4 sets of going back and forth 3 times
Video 2 upper body sledge push with a sumo stance jump then reverse pulls back (Resistance band around the thighs again ) 60 kg weight load.
This is a all over body work out.
I would follow up same as the first video
3 x 1 minute rounds or
4 sets 3 reps going back and forth.
Video 3 prisoner walks. Mark out 10 yards and repeat going back and forth in a deep squatted position using the resistance band and holding a weight in front of you for more burn on the front quads (video 10kg)
4 x 1 minute rounds should do enough to kill them legs off.
Video 4 press up burpees (Resistance band always around the ankles) keep feet the same width as you're shoulders so you can feel the attention towards the inner thighs and glutes.
All body work out.
5 sets of 10 reps should do the trick depends on fitness levels.
