Recalling some good memories: those summer mornings, walking out on the lawn, feeling the warm sun in my face and the cool morning dew on my bare feet. Other days, walking in the forest after heavy rain, drops from the trees soaking my hair and hands, running down my spine, walking harder to avoid getting cold. And the long summer days kayaking on rivers and lakes. Fishing. Gathering crabs and lobster in the sea. Swimming. Some years ago, a scientist said that the main global struggle in the future would be about water. One side of it: lack of clean fresh water for drinking and hygienic purposes. Another side: increasing ocean temperatures, causing raised sea levels and flooding of communities close to the sea. What we also experience, at least in my part of the world, right now, is heavier rain storms with increasing frequency, causing more flooding of houses, fields, with landslides and closed roads. So many water narratives. So many experiences. So much to do.
