Libya is considered a failed state. For all intents and purposes, it has no government, and no laws. More than 150,000 refugees each year for the past three years have tried to cross the Mediterranean Sea and reach Europe. More than 3,000 die each year trying to make this journey. Libya, with the help of Italy, captures vessels attempting to smuggle people into Europe. They get sent back to Libya, where the migrant population may exceed over 1,000,000. These migrants have nothing- no money, no food, no shelter etc. Criminals and smugglers are easily able to take advantage of this, and rob, rape, or murder these helpless people. Some are even sold as slaves once the warehouses reach their carrying capacity. In 2017, there are still 40 million enslaved people around the world. This is not ok. This is terrible. Our president has not commented on this, probably because of his “America First” agenda. Why are Americans so greedy? There are other people in this world too- this planet is not ours for the taking. Humans are humans, and we need to treat everyone as such. Just because someone may not have the same nationality, culture, race, religion, or ethnicity as me, doesn’t mean I don’t care about their well being. Please spread awareness about this slave trade. #alllivesmatter#ourworld#earth#libya#peoplematter#savetheplanet#economy#slavetrade
I posted Christian's Live Birth Vlog on my youtube channel today! 🏩👨⚕️👶🏻💙
Link in bio! ▶️
We had a big scare during delivery because his shoulder got stuck (it's called shoulder dystocia). The complications are so scary. He could've been paralyzed in one arm, had nerve damage that could impact his motor fuctions (cerebral palsy) or it can even be fatal for some babies.
Mom's that are able to deliver successfully usually end up tearing horribly and/or hemorrhaging post-partum.
I only had a small abrasion and Christian was perfectly healthy thank God!
It was the scariest thing we've ever went through.
We are so grateful to God for being so amazing to us and for the great job that our Doctor and the nurses did!
I got all the feels editing the footage 😍😭
It may be 4 months late but hey it's up 🤷🏽♀️😆
I hope you guys enjoy! 💙💜🤰🏽👶🏻 •
