You can use the prescription milks in cooking but they do have a particular taste that your baby may not accept. From 7 months she needs 500-600ml / day over 3-4 feeds which will reduce as weaning progresses.
The alternative milks can be useful too. The plant based milk alternatives can be used in weaning foods as they are more palatable but not all are equal. In particular they are very low in protein and calories. You should also look for ones that have calcium and vitamin D added. 🥛
I have a blog post on milk alternatives that I think you’ll find very helpful. Link in bio.
You may be advised to avoid soya too as 1 in 5 babies with milk allergy are also sensitive to soya. The proteins are very similar.
You do need to avoid rice milk however as the arsenic levels are high, it’s not yet known whether this is dangerous but until research becomes available the guide is to give it a miss.
Breast milk is as good as it gets.
