Please can you just take yourself back a moment to Christmas Day. What to you think of? What do you see? Chaos, manic, full on busy, wrapping paper everywhere, stress levels rising, dinner on the go... probably the most full on craziest day of the year. Each household is different... but WOW when your waters go at 1am on Christmas Day morning it throws a whole different outlook to the day!!! Welcome to the world this adorable Beau Baby, born earlier than her ‘due date’ but you have to agree simply the best Christmas present you’ll ever have!
If ever there was a mummy whose presence was cool, calm and collected, has a very intense job in Mental Health for the NHS but never without a smile on her face... I KNOW for a fact this mummy took this birth well within her stride. Each week she cane to pregnancy relaxation at Lytham to relax, switch off and bond with baby. Learning her invaluable breathing techniques definitely supported this mummy throughout her pregnancy as well as her birth. To give birth on Christmas Day unexpectedly would throw anyone into a tizz, not this Mummy- when there’s a job to be done it’s a case of rolling up your sleeves and cracking on, back in time for your Christmas Dinner 😉
This is what this mummy had to say:
“Well Rebecca it’s been an exciting Christmas for us!! At 1am on xmas day I was woken up by my waters breaking. Once I got over the shock, we gathered ourselves together, dropped Sophia at grandparents and headed to the hospital. As they checked me over I told them about my previous speedy delivery, but sitting there with no contractions at that point, they must have been dubious. However at 2.25am my contractions started and by 2.40am they were fast and strong. They just had enough time to run the pool where I had my last 20 mins of labour before Isabelle was born at 3.17am. What a Christmas present! I’m recovering well and enjoying some lovely family time x”
How utterly utterly amazing! Definitely a Christmas this family will never forget.
We can’t wait to see you again & meet your adorable princess at our Easter get together!
