Happy #humanrightsday#southafrica 🙏🏽 Today we remember #sharpevillemassacre on the 21st March 1960 & we also remember the countless lives taken in exchange for the freedom l have today, the freedom my parents never had😢
I am thankful for all the ordinary people on that day, who stood up and said NO Enough is enough and paid with their lives to put an end to all the injustice that went on for way too long. It always amazes me when people think the struggle was a long long time ago they forgot #apartheid only ended in 1991 & to be honest l wonder if apartheid really ended. My hero will always be #robertsobukwe, l am humbled by the strength you had & l am sorry for everything you had to go through for change to happen. We adore & love #capetown but you just want to scratch the surface a little and see that we still have a long way to go😤 On this day & everyday l pray for healing for the #humanrace & #africa The past cannot be changed but we can do better for future generations✨🙏🏽✨
