Being famous on Instagram is like being rich in Monopoly-it isn't real. Yet people are addicted to their instafame. They can't wait to check to see how many likes they get on their latest selfie or "modeling shoot" that was taken with their phone. And as a society, we perpetrate it by following them and liking the photos making them an "instamodel" and someone of importance.
It's no different than in the US where athletes and entertainers are viewed as people of importance and earn billions of dollars for simply playing a sport to entertain us.
Yet someone inspiring who can change lives gets very few likes compared to the famous asses on Instagram. I notice this with my account-if I post something sexy and provocative, over 100 likes. If I post something inspiring or motivating, less than 50 likes.
Because @luvguru4u and I are people watchers, and we live in a beach town, we see these girls taking selfie after selfie, or having a girlfriend, mother, or father take their pictures on the beach, only to then post them on Instagram and call themselves a model.
I always play devil's advocate-so women love to complain about the objectification of their bodies and being treated like a piece of meat by men, but who is posting their body on Instagram? Are they being forced to post their ass? What kind of message does that send to the world? I'll call it like it is. It's advertising their body. They're selling their body.
Why do men send dick pics then?Ok so you didn't ask for a dick pic but you have to understand why men behave the way they do.
Men are visual creatures and function from a sexual space. They see a half naked body on Instagram and they automatically think the woman is open minded and looking for attention. You can't argue this point-she is looking for attention, otherwise she wouldn't post it on Instagram for the world to see and like, right? So when women beat down men and make them wrong for sending a dick pic-a man questions why it's ok for you to post your ass but it's not ok for him to post his dick.
I can see this for what it is because I view things from both sides. Before you argue, remember this is my Instagram and my point of view. ❤️
