You cannot be great, if you cannot be you...💕 Do you agree?! 👇

Three years ago while on a reporting assignment, I met an 11-yr-old Syrian refugee girl named Rula who along with her parents & 3 brothers lived in a dark & small room of a building in the Shatila urban camps in Beirut, Lebanon.
Over night, Rula & her family fled bombings in their hometown of Daraa, Syria a year before.
Similar to millions of Syrian refugee children Rula suffered from massive anxiety, trauma & PTSD caused by war, displacement & loss.
In that dark corner, on the floor of their bare room, Rula drew me a rose & wrote a letter with a pink marker.
1.5 years later I launched ART OF HOPE to use Art Therapy to help heal the invisible wounds of these children & their families.
As a reporter I witnessed the massive epidemic of Mental Health challenges, PTSD & trauma among war-torn refugees & chose Rula’s letter to show the world that in the darkest of moments you can still carve out hope through art... Rula is now 14 & recently visited our center in the outskirts of Beirut—seeing how her art created a movement & is now changing lives.
What do you think of this one guys? Lemme know in comments.
