🍍 Flexible dieting, or IIFYM (if it fits your macro's) is an excellent form of tracking calories for those who don't want to follow a regimented diet plan. 🌽 For my client's over the past few months I have created both flexible and what I like to call, more 'rigid' diet plans. 🥝 So let's start with the stricter, more 'rigid' one. As with all diets, whether it be a growing phase or losing fat phase, or even a maintenance stage, you complete my initial assessment. I take into account numerous variables, exercise output being one for example, and I calculate how much protein, carbs and fat you need each day to grow, lose or maintain. This will vary on exercise days as your energy output is different so we need to accommodate that. In a nutshell though you don't worry about anything. I tell you exactly what to eat and when! That simple. 🥑 Now comes the flexible approach. Some people, including myself at times, like to be able to be more flexible with dieting. This approach is called IIFYM. I do the same calculations, but instead of telling you what to eat and when, I give you a macro breakdown of protein, carbs and you guessed it.... Fat. From here YOU decide what to eat. Simply use a tracker such as myfitnesspal and log your food. If it makes it easier, work one day ahead at at a time so you always know what you want to eat the day in advance! 📢

Only thing I didn’t like was it claims to be sweat proof, my sweaty cell phone determines that was a lie BUT put your phone in a trusty ziplock inside the pouch and it’s just fine :) #cupcakesforprs

1RM testing High Bar Squat 185kg at 71kg BW for a 5kg PB over the course of 4 months since last test in September 2017. Them 2.6x BW Squat unlocked. Pretty happy considering I was sick 3 days prior to this and honestly probably shouldn’t have tested at all 🙄.
