When I first opened this account, someone asked me, "What are you trying to get?". That puzzled me. My answer was, "Healthy!" and that's the truth.
I opened it as a way to vent and reflect on my daily frustrations with other people who juggle things such as balancing life, work, family, fun, and/or nutrition and healthy coping mechanisms in their lives. I am at times challenged by harmful behaviors (severe eating disorders which I don't like to say directly because I want to focus instead on the beauty of life OUTSIDE of that; I've lost so much time to them that I want to explore life in their absence. . . and this is my story).Those behaviors have served me well in the past but I am working avidly to extinguish those permanently.
I hold myself accountable to reflect on a regular basis and learn from my mistakes so that I don't repeat them and so that a life of good health and wellness can be mine to enjoy without self-sabotoge. I'm highly driven and have come a long way in learning to support the quality of life I desire, including using that word, "NO" and not feeling guilty. I'm always smiling, always the people pleaser but learning I can walk in my truth, grow, be a kind person, and own my time with still being kind.
I am amazed that so many have joined and followed me on my learning journey but I do enjoy the company. I've learned to clarify my thoughts and share my experiences in a positive way. And, I really am this positive in real life 😊!! So, thank you for your feedback, comments, encouragement, insights, different perspectives, and just for being here.

As much as I love how many new health conscious, brands are out there these days, and how many stores carry great small production/ local companies that make foods with a love for quality...
Sometimes I have to remind myself of something that is so easy to forget, but so important: .
EJOY SIMPLICITY, ENJOY WHOLE FOODS. .
Like I said, as much as I love these amazing brands, and don’t know what I’d do without some of them, when is the last time you peeled yourself an orange? Ate and apple bite by bite? Snacked on some cucumbers? .
When is the last time you’ve enjoyed a food in it’s natural form, and REALLY savored it?
✨I think about being a kid and having my mom pick a papaya in the morning from our garden, cutting it up, squeezing some lime on it, and serving it for us in bowls. It’s still my favorite thing in the whole world. The best feeling. .
. ✨In our big city lives where you can choose from rows of “super food” snacks, bars, shakes, gluten free, dairy free, grain free, sugar free, cruelty free, baked not fried, this not that, best ingredients in the whole world....
Please, remember to enjoy REAL FOOD. Savor something picked from a tree or pulled from the earth, without seasoning, savor its taste. .
✨It is truly a thing of beauty and a luxury to have access to all that we have at our fingertips, just don’t forget to enjoy simplicity every chance you get. .
