It’s been a minute since my last one, so let’s do another Friday introduction!
I’m Emily, Registered Dietitian and mom of 4. We live in Logan, Utah and are gearing up for our first winter full of snow ❄️😬🙃 Here are 5 things about me!
1. I’m an introvert, who loves public speaking. I’m pretty quiet and reserved until you ask me to speak on a nutrition/body image/disordered eating subject and then I could talk all day 🙋🏻♀️
2. I love Jane Austen and have read everything she’s written. When my husband and I first started dating, he read Pride and Prejudice after I told him it was my favorite book. After 16 1/2 years of marriage, he’d never dream of reading it again 😂
3. Speaking of reading, it’s THE thing I wish I had more time for. I have so many books I’d love to read. What’s your favorite? What should I add to my list?
4. Throughout high school and college I was always known as the quiet, smart girl who sat at the front of the class. I LOVE to learn and would be a full time student forever if I could. I definitely don’t claim to know everything but I hope to one day 😀
5. The thing l’ll likely never figure out is how to parent. Does anyone REALLY know? It feels like a shot in the dark all the time 😂 My strategy is the same as I use for food: take it on a case by case basis 👌🏻
