So this sort of happened!
I normally have shorter hair but prior to the chop it was the longest my hair had been for about 11 years.
I enjoyed having longer hair but was finding it increasingly difficult to manage as I'm lucky enough to have REALLY thick hair.
I've been toying with getting it cut again over the past few weeks, but totally overthought it going over all sort of 'what if' scenarios in my head.
What if I didn't like it.
What if it didn't suit me anymore?
Is it a big mistake getting a new hairstyle just before I go on holiday?
What if a shorter hairstyle doesn't go with my bridesmaid dress?
Blah blah blah.
I even ran it past a few friends. Until one of my friends @louisequinney1 just said 'what's the big deal? If you don't like it, it will just grow again'. So I just went for it & love it!
It made me realise although a trivial thing to be over thinking, it's so true of what we do every single day when we make decisions.
We overthink & question 'what if'. How many things do you think this stops you from doing things every single day?
Sometimes in life you just need to go for it.
After all, what's the worst that could happen?
