#EFU2018 participant Tatiana Paruzel, Poland
Legend claims that on the battle field soaked with blood cornflowers grow to embellish sadness. Does the war that brings death exclude beauty?
Can you add charm with martial elements?
What has been relayed, blessed and collected for centuries needs protection from oblivion.
The beauty of a folk costume, the memory and courage of my nation, this all have the power that I show in my works
These words of #TatianaParuzel has touched us, indeed a perfect way to sum up her fashion philosophy for the collection. It was displayed yesterday at the #milanfashionweek.
♻️ I said some things about being more environmentally-conscious to @elleuk as co-founder of @ftoxins ♻️ Link in bio 🖇️
'Sometimes it’s easy to feel powerless as a consumer but we do have choice in what we buy. There’s no plan[et] B so I’m attempting to be more eco-conscious by using every purchase as a vote towards energy conservation, fair trade and animal welfare. I gave up single-use plastic and I research reusable swaps for the other disposable items in my everyday life.
'For example, I now use organic cotton handkerchiefs instead of tissues, glass water bottles instead of throwaway plastic and I even have a stainless-steel straw that I take to bars with me! I pull it out of my bag with pride when I stop one less going into landfill.'
