#wakandaforever “Just because something works doesn’t mean it can’t be improved.” After seeing Black Panther 50 million times (that's only a slight exaggeration), I knew I had to dedicate my first #bosslevelbaking recipes to my favorite ladies of Black Panther. .
These are macarons bases on @letitiawright 's Shuri and @danaigurira 's Okoye.
Shuri is a Guyanese Black Cake inspired macaron. I made a spiced citric lemon shell with my new favorite thing, black cake buttercream frosting.
She is amazing, with a strong flavour and a slight kick, just like our favorite Wakanda inventor. I decorated the shells with Shuri's battle armour look, because it was one of my favorite looks.
Okoye's macarons are inspired by the popular sweets and crops of Zimbabwe: papaya, coconut and peanuts. Full of sweet and subtle flavours, the Adored Ones Macarons are an amazing treat for any movie watching experience.
I had so much fun creating the recipes for all parts of these treats.
Recipe to be on the @sartorialgeek blog soon (hopefully)
Also don't the @rocklovejewlery wakanda pieces look amazing.
