It’s so important to get out of the main city when you travel. While Prague was beautiful and convenient, I needed to stretch my legs in the Czech Republic country side. I shared a special post on the blog today spotlighting the majestic Cesky Krumlov 💖💖 see why everyone calls it a real life fairytale town ☝🏼link in insta bio☝🏼 // #CeskyKrumLOVE

Did you know that drinking can help you in writing? Famous American journalist and writer Joan Didion drinks an hour before dinner as it removes her from the pages she needs to write. She spends an hour thinking of the things she’s done during the day to help her with her tasks. to help her in redoing everything she did the day after.

Pics & post from yesterday’s Installation Service. How special to do it in Martin Luther King Day Weekend, a time set apart to remember sacrifices made and honor the potential and power of social justice, diversity, & joining forces for causes greater than our comfort zones or personal agendas! May God do great things at the Jersey Shore and beyond in 2018. Super special to join with Life Chapel in Lexington live for the service as well. Thanks special guests & friends who came! The Kingdom of God is Beyond Borders. When people come together, our churches, communities, country, and world are stronger & more powerful! #newhopeproject#MLK#ihadadream#fullgospelchurchwall#FGCwall#lifechapellexington#strongertogether#sowilli#beyondborders

#beyondborders#angelinajolie#love#😭 #nothingisimpossible❤️
Detail of Godhari Quilt, Pachamahabhuta (the five elements of nature), 2014. This piece forms part of our #BeyondBorders exhibition.
A godhari is a traditional quilt made from recycled fabrics. They are made by the rural women of Maharashtra (a state in Western India: the capital city is Mumbai).
The term panchamahabhuta comes from ancient Indian philosophy, which described all creation - both living and non-living - as composites of five fundamental elements, the panchamahabhuta: space/sound; air/touch; fire/sight; water/taste; earth/scent. Each element in this quilt is signified by a colour.
Designed by Tapan Mittal-Deshpande, a conservation architect working with the organisation, Thotpot, which aims to revive traditional arts. Quilted by Usha Tai and her team of women weavers.
