Happy Monday Everyone! If you saw my IG story and/or post from Saturday, you know I was playing with my food ... actually, playing with the color of my oats! This morning’s parfait features the matcha and beetroot oats! I must confess, I still find the blue spirulina oats the most stunning, but this one is a close second! And, if you are curious about the taste, I really couldn’t tell with the blue spirulina or the beetroot powders ... the matcha one is a bit more distinct ... love the flavor, however. If you want to recreate the oats, I added a 1/2 Tsp of the powders to my single serving overnight oats (1/3 cup oats, 1 Tbsp chia seeds, 3/4 cup vanilla unsweetened mylk, 1 Tbsp maple syrup). 🌱💗💚💗🌱
