I was lucky enough to be in Banff for the 100th Canadian Independence Day this past year, alongside a couple thousand other tourists 📷 I don't think I'd ever had to wait in line to see views at a National Park before but obviously there's a reason so many people come out. Absolutely insane landscapes in the Canadian Rockies 🏔️

Weevil I found in Mindo Cloud Forest. Possibly Rhodobaenus apicalis species.
These are my favourite types of beetle as their snouts are well adapted to their lifestyle and in my opinion also make them quite cute!
