This photo was taken at the Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark Sky Reserve in New Zealand.
It is the southern hemisphere's sole dark sky reserve.
We were lucky to have a few hours of clear sky that night. And I was absolutely amazed by this iPhone X camera.
You can even see the colour differences of the stars.
Under the Milkyway we were covered by the twinkling stars, surrounded by many bunnies🐰 (yes they were EVERYWHERE in the region).
It was one of the most romantic moments I’ve ever experienced. 💕⭐️💕 #nz#aoraki#darkskyreserve#milkyway#stargazing#starrynight

I’m going on an adventure🗺 Mount Cook (the Lonely Mountain) bound🏔
Best things (&views) in life are for free💸
Behind the pic: Did you know that you can travel in NZ almost for free? Many tourist renting car travel just one way (mostly from North to South) so there is a need to return it back. You can do so via transfercar.co.nz and for 1$ you get full tank and few days to return it to it's origin. We did so 2000+km for just 2€ and saw many beautiful things on the way. Definitely a steal! 😉
