Because tube amps get hot they do best with nothing above them. In my case, this meant placing it on the floor in front of my other components. Sitting directly on the carpet isn’t the best for isolation so I fabbed up this DIY Hi-Fi amp stand on a budget. $16 cutting board from Home Goods and $20 speaker spikes from Parts Express. Tripod configuration for the spiked feet so it anchors securely to the concrete subfloor and no issues with leveling the amp. This stand raises the amp up just high enough so I can route the (slightly too bulky) RCA connectors underneath to keep things tidy. #dynaco#hifi#tubeamp#ampstand#amprack#diy
Pre fab amplifier rack/mount to be shipped off to Ireland. The Amplifier rack is decoupled from the mounting plate, this is designed so that our client can drop it into an existing false floor panel with relative ease. Lovely and simple in its design. #caraudio#amplifier#amprack#music#sound
